When i saw this unique handblown lampwork bead i knew that the wrapping needed to be complimentary but simple, so i framed the beautiful glasswork and added a woven bail.

This lampwork bead is handmade by the very clever Wendy of Creeky Beads and is just stunning.

The "hair" section is quick thick and stands out at a depth of 2cm which is shown in the pictures but this is beautifully balanced by the rest of the bead and the wirework.

i had to capture it in a way to really compliment the unique shape, and love the outcome.

the pendant measures at 5.5cm from bail to point and 3.5cm across.

I have used bare copper wire, this can tarnish naturally but i will include a small piece of steel wire wool which you can use to polish it back to its bright shiney self, or i can add a protecting coat of wax that will slow the process down.  please note this is natural when using bare copper.

it will come on a standard 18" copper plated chain but can be changed to a wax cord if you prefer.
